  8.  *    Seasoned AmigaUUCP users should refer to VERSION.DOC for a list of

  12.     file "QuickSetup.DOC".  Seasoned UUCP users may want to
  13.     glance at QuickSetup.DOC but spend the majority of their
  14.     time on SlowSetup.DOC

  16.  *    UUCP should be tested via QuickSetup.DOC by inexperienced
  17.     UUCP users before attempting a real installation.

  19.  *    The first floppy is bootable (note: distributions on networks
  20.     do not include commodore 1.3 system executables).  The boot
  21.     sequence sets up the appropriate directories and assigns and
  22.     runs two programs (Getty and DCron) in the background before
  23.     giving you a standard CLI prompt.

  25.     The second floppy contains additional executables, manual pages,
  26.     and the source code.

  31.     together exactly who did what in this release.    When possible
  32.     history is given... and, of course, I know what I have done
  33.     much better than I know what other people have done so don't

  40.     This code is based on months of work on William P. Loftus's
  41.     Amiga UUCP 0.40 release with news code from his 0.60 release.
  42.     The version number is shown at the top of this file.  x.xxD
  43.     refers to versions originated by myself and have nothing to do with
  44.     WPL's version numbering.  The code is sufficiently different ..
  45.     MAJORLY different that it is not possible to assign a sub version
  46.     relative to WPLs version numbering.

  48.     Version numbers are of the form:    m.rrD.ss    Where m.rrD is
  49.     common to all executables and .ss is the individual revision
  50.     numbers associated with a particular executable and embedded in it.
  51.     The UIDENT command run on an executable will reveal its full
  52.     version id.

  56.     This distribution is freely redistributable as long as all files and
  57.     directory structures, except the 'system' directory which contains
  58.     commodore-amiga executables, remain intact.  Redistributions
